And we get huge satisfaction from seeing the results.

We are focusing on making businesses extraordinary. How you can stimulate attraction, create awareness and promote action in your business are below. Also our recommended read for all entrepreneurial business owners, a super effective calculation and see what some of our extraordinary clients have been up to!

“Extraordinary is mandatory…”

“To be successful in business it’s no longer enough to be good: You must be extraordinary. Good is common; good is boring. Good is the enemy of great…”

To succeed businesses must become extraordinary, you have to attract your ideal customer and rise above competitors and stand out as being the most attractive option.

Stimulate attraction
Working out who your ideal customers are and working through the DNA of your business to become appealing to your ideal customers is how you will become extraordinary. This will position your business far apart from competitors and stimulate attraction for your business.

While your business image is an expression of you, it needs to be an expression of your customers, therefore the image you have must appeal to the audience you want to attract. When your brand story, brand positioning and logo are based on your business DNA and knowing who your ideal customer is your image appeals to them, you gain a bigger market share and greater customer loyalty.

Ideal customers are those who buy your product or service with passion, they really want what you have to offer, they love what you have to offer and they think they can’t live without it, these customers don’t return your product or complain. If you get the right message to the right audience not only will they buy from you, but they will buy from you forever. And they’ll refer you to all their friends and family. Imagine that.

Do you know who your ideal customer is?
Is your business DNA based on attracting your ideal customer?
Is your brand positioned and designed to attract your ideal customer?

Create awareness
Once you know who your ideal customer is, making them aware of your business becomes a whole lot easier. When so many businesses blend into the myriad of sameness, you have a huge competitive advantage when you know exactly where to find your ideal customer and how to target them.

Awareness comes from doing things that appeal to your ideal customer. Get their attention and do it well, this includes being consistent. Consistency lets your ideal customer get to know you. Consistently showcasing a fresh image attributes to the appeal and creates that awareness.

All businesses are different and customers respond to different things. Have on hand great tools to create awareness for your business that appeal to your ideal customer.

People buy based on emotions and they justify their purchases with logic, once you know who your ideal customer is then you need to choose the right marketing strategies.

Promote action
When you know who your ideal customer is you can design ‘calls to action’ that appeal to them and promote action for your business. The businesses who will succeed are those that are in front of their ideal customers. Whether that be in person, in print or online.

Taking your ideal customer on a short journey to direct them to take action is simple when you know what method of interaction appeals to them. For most businesses the web has become a crucial tool to increase sales. Taking your ideal customer on a journey through the web means your ideal customer is highly likely to answer your call to action whether it is to make an appointment, get a quote, place an order or simply to join a database.

Utilise the web and have at hand the online tools that appeal to your ideal customer for example; websites, interactive media, rich text emails, Search Engine Optimisation and website statistics are outstanding tools that will target your ideal customer well and promote the action required. It really is that simple.

Is your ideal customer answering your calls to action?
Do you know how well your tools are working?

How many customers do you need?
A part of simple marketing is to know how many customers you need so you can plan how to get them and keep track of the.

A simple tool to calculate how many customers you need per year, month, week and day is this:

Turnover wanted: $………………../year, $………………../month, ………………../week

How much the average customer spends: $………………..

Turnover amount divided by the above figure: ……………….. customers per year, ………………../ customers per month, ………………..customers per week

Once you have these figures you can determine how you plan to get those customers. Some areas to consider are:

Market Analysis, Competitive advantage, Current customers, Brand Positioning, Product/Service, Price, Place/distribution, Promotion

Three crucial questions:
How do I get more profit per sale?
How do I get more sales per customer?
How do I get more customers?

Consider: 0800 number, adwords, Search Engine Optimisation, animation, articles, online shopping and orders, award recognition, blogging, business cards, offers, case studies, competitions, download page, email showcase or newsletter, feedback forms, following up, freebies, guarantees, mailing list building, mini-sites, networking, news feeds, newsletters, postcards, events, radio and print advertising, signs, testimonials, tips, tutorials, videos, social networking, upselling and cross selling, websites and Yellow Pages.
