Getting new customers and then keeping them is really important we can spend alot of money and time getting new customers, but in fact it's pften cheaper and easier to focus on the ones we have.

Making customers loyal to us is all about the good feelings we leave them with when they do business with us, make them fall in love with using you and your business and they will come back time and time again and they will tell everyone about you, it's true think about the last time you left a business feeling absolutely rapt when you left and how many people have you told about that experience?

So put yourself in your customers shoes and walk through the process they go through to order/buy your product and service. Think about all of the contact points your customers have with you and your staff, and if theres anything that could be done to make you feel more important as a customer.

It could be as simple as a new doormat, clean windows, fresh and updated magazines, a more friendly phone message, a free gift - even a lolly jar or a coffee maker, friendlier staff, an email newsletter offering specials, a client event, a birthday card, a competition... there is a myriad of things that could be done.

Remember your customers are the most important aspect of your business so really work on keeping them happy.
